We are researching the family of Douglas Harper REED. The family lived for many years in Bergen County, New Jersey and in and around New York City.
Doug's father, James Alexander REED, Jr. (1890-1966) and mother, Annette BRUEGMAN (1896-1938) lived in Elizabeth, NJ where Doug was born. Doug's paternal grandparents (James Alexander REED and Mary Jane IRWIN) founded the Reed Presbyterian Church in Lyndhurst, NJ. Doug's father worked for B.F. Goodrich handling the NY/NJ sales region and through them may have had associations in the Ohio area.

I live, I don't know how long;
I die, I don't know when;
I go, I don't know where;
I am amazed that I can be so cheerful!
