We are researching decendants and ancestors of Barnet Reid who we believed settled first in Lancaster, Pa in the early 1730-1770's(?). He was married to Susanna Stitlin on Dec. 10, 1792 Shelby Co. Ky. There children were Samuel married to Sarah ??, Dorcus, Lydia married to Joseph Lumbach (in Brown Co. Ohio),Barnet married to Elizabeth Ayers, Martha married to Lewis Evans, Rebecca married to Asa Reeves, Mary married to John Edmonston, Angelina married to Eli Reeves, Ruth married to Benjamin McDaniels, Ruth. The Surname I believe changed to Reed with some. I would love to exchange information on any of the lines, but would really love to find out father, mother, brothers, sisters of Barnet Reid and what where he lived before coming to the United States.

We are also researching decendants and ancestors of Peter Ehrsam(pronounced air-sum) of Bern Switzerland. He was married to Sarah Boos, and they had seven children;Alexander, Leady, Peter,Leafy,Maggie,Mamie and Tillie. Alexander, my great-great grandfather married Susan Margriff, they had six children; Robert, Alexander, Oliver, Herbert, Elizabeth and Roger. Robert my grandfather married Bernice Booth, they had four children; Jerry, Sandra, Patricia and Barry. Most of the Ehrsam family members that I know of are from the Dyer IN, or Joliet IL. areas. Some Ehrsam's have been found in Kansas, but I need to find the connection and to find information on Ehrsam's related to me that originate in Switzerland or Alsec Lorraine, Germany.
