Kechi Lewis Allen was a Mississippi Choctaw Indian. He married Casandra June Barlett. Kechi and his father was said to have been scouts for the Texas Calvary when they were ambushed and killed during a scouting assignment. This would explain why there were only two sons born to this union, William Jackson and Gillum Andrew. Casandra is said to be buried at Fort Worth, Texas, William Jackson buried at Quitaque, Texas and Gillum Andrew at Cleburn, Texas.

Any one knowing any information please contact me because we can not prove our Indian herritage and would love any information that might help.
