I am searching for the ancestors of SHADRACK REEDY, who was born in 1746 in Fairfax County, VA (later Loudoun County). He served in the 11th Virginia Regiment of Foot, commanded by Daniel Morgan, during the Revolutionary War. He later lived in TN before moving to Madison County, AL where he drew a pension and died April 3, 1825. His grandson, JOHN REEDY, moved to Texas around 1850.Also, I am researching REUBEN PINYAN (Pinion, Pennel) who was born in VA about 1752, moved to Surry County, NC, served in the NC Militia during the Revolutionary War, and died March 3, 1843 in Anson County, NC. Other families I am researching include: COONROD (KY-IL-TX), BUCK (TN-MO-TX-OK), NEELY (NC-TN-AL-TX,OK), YOUNG (IL-TX-OK), HOLDER (AL-MO-TX), and IRBY (TN-IL-TX). |
