| I am researching the descendents of Loveless Pinkney Aery, son of John Alexander Aery and Mary Hannah Pounders. Loveless was born in 1850, in Alabama. In 1872 Loveless married Mary Elizabeth Merrit in Carroll County, Arkansas. They had nine children, the eldest was my grandfather, James Merrit Aery, James had several wives, including my grandmother, Sallie Webb. My father, Thomas Jackson Aery was their sixth child. I have encountered many different spellings for the name Aery and several have proven to be actual relatives. I would be interested in information regarding this family and any of the other "branches" of James Merrit Aery. |
