Reed Family History Page

Objective: To trace back as far as existing civil registry records will allow, for the following surnames: REED, STARKEY, HILL, HUGHES, ROBBINS, and FRIEND, between 1840 and 1940.

Almost all of our ancestors lived in Birmingham, County of Warwickshire, England, and using public records we have got back to the 1860's.

In March 1999 we contributed the index of 215 individuals to the Broderbund World Family Tree project.

In the meantime I would be grateful for any help, hints, and comments about any of the family names shown above, or indeed about any sources of information that could speed up our research.
