ARAH LOUTISHA WEST:
Nooner Cemetery, from Plainview take State Hwy 28 to Rover, from Rover State Hwy 27 to Onyx. The cemetery is about seven miles from Onyx on Hwy 27.

There appears to be a Reed family plot in this cemetery. The following headstones were recorded:

Reed, Bertha A. d/o J.L. & M.E. 14 May 1906 18 Aug 1906
Reed, Bell no dates
Reed, Earl s/o E.B. & A. 17 Mar 1904 7 May 1905
Reed, Sarah L. w/o E.D. 19 Jan 1848 20 Jun 1904 [corrected by a 1999 cemetery reading to "....w/o E.D.C......"]

Sarah L. is E.D.C.'s wife, Sarah Loutisha West Reed. The birthday corresponds to information from other sources. It can be verified by the 1900 Yell Co. census report that Enoch Benjamin & Arbelia, William Jesse & Mary, & James Littleton & Mary were all still living in Crawford township in close proximity to EDC & Sarah.

In 1900 she & her family were living in dwelling 116, William J. & Mary E. were in 114, EDC & Sarah were in 120, & E.B. & Arbelia were living in dwelling 121. EDC & Mary married in 1904. According to the 1910 census, Chester, her youngest, was the only child still living at home.

In the 1920 census we find a 25 year old Chester Jones & his wife, Ida, age 17. They were still living in Crawford township.
