I am researching Green Cole REESE b. 1812, in western Kentucky; possibly in Christian or Caldwell counties. I am seeking his ancestry, as well as those related. Our family history goes back to the British Isles; Wales, Ireland, and England, for the most part. The Reese, Mourning, Griffitts, Warren families all gathered together in Kentucky in the earlier 1800's, most migrated to Illinois, then went there separate ways to Missouri, Kansas, California, other southwest States. We have other names of importance; Roberts, Gregg, Box, Waddell, to mention a few. I would appreciate any information on any of the names above, and am willing to share what I have in my family tree. I hope that my home page will be helpful to some of our wandering relatives. |
