Young Family Tree

After finding out about the upcoming Young Family Reunion and after watching the PBS series, African American Lives, hosted by Dr. Henry Gates, I knew it was time for me to find out as much as I could about our family tree.

Armed with this new software, I began filling in the blanks. Miraculously, the connections began to click; stories were recalled and the lives of our ancestors began to unfold.

This website is another attempt to collect more information. I have an insatiable appetite for family knowledge, and I will not stop until the tree is complete with each branch well represented.

Please take this opportunity to trace your lineage to make sure that you and your family correctly appears. If you find that your branch has been left off, don't get uptight; make it right.
