I believe I am only the fourth generation to live in the USA. I have a Scobie family bible that my grandfather received from an aunt who married into the Scobie family in Scotland. The bible contains names of my grandfathers wife and children's birth and death dates.
My Father's father's family came from Scotland
My Mother's father's family came from Denmark
