| I am researching the Rise Family Tree. I have just started this process. I do know that they started in Norway. Lars Nilsen Rise married Lisbet Matthias Satter. They had 10 kids that we know of and possibly two others. All children remained in Norway except four of them. I am told that the family home is still in what is written as Bakke, Strandebarm, Hardanger, Norway. I am not sure if this is one town or three seperate towns havent done that research yet. |
