4. Nicholas Sr² Baucom (Hans (Baron Hanson)¹ Von Baucom) was born 1700 in Germany, and died March 10, 1762 in Johnston Co., North Carolina. He married (1) Sarah Lee in Cravens Co., North Carolina, daughter of Joshua Lee and Eleanor Lee. She was born 1712, and died 1768 in Johnston Co., North Carolina. He married (2) Mary Unknown. She was born Abt. 1706.

Notes for Nicholas Sr Baucom:

The Baucom's came to America in 1710. The names Nicholas and Joachim are names with others as some of the first but the link connecting the two has not been established. The information we received says Nicholas settled in Pennsylvania when he arrived in the United States. Then moved to Massachusetts in 1715. Then the two of them moved to North Carolina in 1730 Early records show that John Baucom and Nicholas Baucom both obtained land grants prior to 1760. Nicholas Baucom died in North Carolina in 1763.
