I am doing research on my maternal side of the family. William Charles Doughty was my great grandfather and his son Robert Jackson Doughty was my grandfather. I bearly knew my grandfather before he died and I have had difficulty finding information on him. I know he was drafted on April 25th 1918 in Kern County California to serve in the Great War.
