I am researching the following persons and families: COUGHLAN:I don't know when my Coughlan ancestors came to America, but Thomas Coughlan (b. 1858 or 59) was probably born in Massachusetts. He married Mary McGee and settled in St. Cloud (and later Akeley) Minnesota.Mary McGee came from the families of McCormick and McGee in Lurgan, Ireland. REGNER:The Regners came from Germany in about 1883 through New York and settled in Price County, Wisconsin.Johann Regner, born in the first half of the nineteenth century was Maurer-meister in Aurach. WARD/O'CONNELL:Patrick Connell Ward was born in 1832 and brought his family to Petaluma, California and then Wasco County, Oregon. He was the son of Bridget O'Connell and James Ward.Family legend has it that Bridget O'Connell was related to Daniel O'Connell, the Liberator. ZEHNER:The Zehners came from Bavaria, Germany about the same time as the Regners.Antone Zehner (b. 1850) married Marion String (b. 1860) in Germany and they came together to Price County, Wisconsin. Please contact me if you would like to exchange information about any of these branches in my family tree. |
