The Alban Elwell Reid Jr. Family File

I am researching two lines of my family through the Polks of Delaware and the Kites of Pennsylvania. To date, Polk lineage traces through Charles Polk, a patriot in the War of Independence, to two signers of the Magna Charta and thence to William the Conqueror. The Kite lineage traces through Isaac Kite, a Lieutenant in the War of Independence, to King John and beyond to Charlemagne and Charles Martel. I am concurrently tracing the Crump lineage of my grandson through his mother to Robert Crump, a patriot in the War of Independence, to Richard Buck, pastor at Jamestown colony, who married John Rolfe and Pocahontas before their departure to England. To date, I have completed the Polk and Kite lineages as indicated above and have compiled Ahnentafel Reports, Descendant Register Reports, and Outline Descendant Charts for the two lines in looseleaf book form.
