Reid and Coverts in the Pacific Northwest

I am a college student who is researching my family history in my spare time, what little of it I have. I have my ancestors back to Ireland and Scottland on one branch of the family tree (Covert: Joe and Lillie) Virginia on another (Reid: Daniel Gregson and Emma) and Mississippi on a third (John A. and Arlene) I am really interested in my father's branch of the family as it has not been researched as much.
