| I am researching the Reid, Jones, Dodson, Cartmel(l), Moore and Sewell names, mainly in England and Scotland but with one branch of the Reid line going to South Africa and then possibly on to New Zealand. My own branch line via my father, William Ainslie Reid, goes to Australia. I have included an outline genealogy report of the Reid, Dodson, Sewell and Jones lines, together with a detailed report of the Reid line. With the South African line from George Archibald Reid, I believe there may have been a name change at some point to something like Oxton-Reid before moving on to New Zealand. I am also trying to find out about the surname FRANK. A family which moved from Germany, in the late 1950's or early 60's, to Australia. Hoping you find a connection. |
