I am researching the Reid, Jones, Dodson, Cartmel(l), Moore and Sewell names, mainly in England and Scotland but with one branch of the Reid line moving to South Africa in the early 1900s and then on to New Zealand. My own branch line via my father, William Ainslie Reid, goes to Australia. I have included an outline genealogy report of the Reid, Dodson, Sewell and Jones lines, together with a detailed report of the Reid line. With the South African line from George Archibald Reid, a a son, Geoffrey Oxton Reid, moved to New Zealand and I have recently made contact with that branch of the family.

Hoping you find a connection.
