| Battle Reunion August 11-13, 2006 Holiday Inn Huntsville, AL I am researching the Battle family from Hunstville and other parts of Alabama. The lineage starts with my grandfather, Garthel Battle, who was in the US Army, married Anner Poston January 1920, born October 11, 1896 and father of two daughters, Annie G Battle and Mary B Moore. His mother's name was Classie, not sure of his father's name. He had two brothers, Robert & Edmond Battle. In addition, I'm researching some of his brothers children: Kilyan Battle, Edmond Battle, Jr., Ben Battle, James Battle, and Abraham Battle all of whom were born in Huntsville, AL. Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have. |
