She and husband Charles lived most of their lives in Chicago. She died at the age of 66 yrs., early this morning, at a north?? side hospital, in Chicago, Ill, She had been ill for several years, plus the few weeks stay in hospital. NOTE!! Alida says Ellen died at a south side hospital, not far from where Alida went to high school. 4. -------------- No children in this marriage. 5. -------------- Charles did have a son by a previous marriage, his name was Duke. Charles owned and operated a mens clothing store at the corner of Garfield Blvd. and Halsted St., on the south side, of Chicago, he and Aunt Ellen lived just around the corner from the store. -------------
