Notes for Frederick Edward Reid: Fred's nickname became Doc. as he worked a lot with his Dad who was Vet. in Wash. IA. See copy of cousin Fred's 1940 Washington, Iowa High School Graduation Picture. Fred was in the U.S. Army, and was a veteran of World War II. He served with the Calvary, Red Horse Unit in the Philippines. Fred, Mary, and babies Bill and Sara moved to Davenport, IA. in 1950. The other 2 children were born in Davenport. Fred had suffered with enfazeama for some time. On the 14th he fell breaking his hip, a blood clot formed, which was the cause of his death. his age was 72 yrs..
