John Raymond Reiber was born on November 19, 1930 at 420 High Street,
Meyersdale, Somerset County, Pennsylvania the son of Walter Raymond Reiber and Margaret Lucile Holzshu Reiber. He married his wife, Edith Fae Boyer on September 22, 1951 at Columbus, Georgia. She was born on August 20, 1930 in Stoneycreek Township, Somerset County, Pennsylvania the daughter of Earl Emerson Boyer and Bessie Florence Martz Boyer.

H. In 1949 Fae came to Meyersdale for employment with the G.C. Murphy Co.
She rented a room at Mrs. Isolene Herwig's house on Broadway Street and
later at Mrs Ray Vought's house on Grant Street, where she lived until
accompanying her fiance, John, to Columbus, Georgia in August 1951. -1
I. On 9 February 1951, John enlisted in the Air Force and served on active
duty until 16 November 1953. He was then assigned to the inactive USAF
Reserve until 1959 when he was honorably discharged. -19
J. On 22 September 1951, John R. Reiber married Edith Fae Boyer in Columbus,
Georgia by Rev. W. T. Johnson at his residence. -4
K. In November 1953, John and Fae returned to Meyersdale and moved into the
home of John's aunt and uncle, Harry and Evelyn Holzshu LaRue at 328 High
Street in Meyersdale, where they lived until July 1954. -1
L. On 3 March 1954, Mrs Edith Fae Reiber was confirmed in Zion Evangelical
Lutheran Church Meyersdale, by Rev. Victor A. Carlson, pastor. She removed
in 1963. -8
M. In August 1954, John and Fae moved to Washington D.C., John accepting a
position with the National Security Agency; in September 1954, Fae also got
a position with the agency. -23,24
N. In January 1955, John and Fae moved to Arlington, Virginia to be closer to
their workplace and nearer to their friends, Bob and Joan Ebaugh. -1
O. In May 1955, John and Fae purchased their first house in Odenton, Maryland
as NSA had moved to Ft. George C. Meade. -1
P. On 16 November 1956, Susan Fae Reiber was born d/o John R. and E. Fae
Reiber, at University Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. -2
Q. On 21 April 1957, Susan Fae Reiber, born 16 November 1956 in Baltimore,
Md., d/o John R. Reiber and Edith Fae Boyer Reiber was baptised by Rev.

R. On 19 February 1960, Bradley James Reiber was born s/o John R. Reiber and
E. Fae Reiber at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. -3
S. On 17 April 1960, Bradley James Reiber was baptised, born 19 February 1960
at Baltimore, Md., s/o John R. Reiber and Edith Boyer, by Rev. Charles E.

T. In October 1960, John moved his family into an apartment in Laurel,
Maryland, while waiting for their new home to built in Ellicott City, Howard
County Maryland. They lived in Ellicott City until January 1961. -1
U. In February 1961, the Reiber family moved into a new house in Ellicott
City, where they lived until 1965. -1
V. In 1961, John and family joined St. John's Lutheran Church in Ellicott
City, on Waterloo Road. -1
W. In July 1965, John moved his family to their new home in Glenwood, Howard
County, Maryland, where they lived until January 1975. They joined Calvary
Lutheran Church in Woodbine, Maryland. -1
X. On 3 May 1970, Susan F. Reiber was confirmed at Calvary Lutheran by Rev.
Norman C. Hoffeld, pastor. -18
Y. In July 1974, John retired from the National Security Agency, after having
heart attack in June 1973. -1
Z. In January 1975, John and family moved to St. Petersburg, Florida, where
they resided until November 1993. -1
AA. In November 1993, John and Fae moved into a condominium at Kings Point,
Sun City Center, Florida. -1
BB. According to Jay Miller (Fae's brother-law) his parents told him that the
Boyer twins, Fae and Mae, were born at the "H. Stull place" (see map) in the
village of Downey, just north of Roxbury, Pa. His parents visited the new
twins there in 1930. -1
