1907-08 Springhill Community, near Hope, Hempstead County AR. My G.Grandmother, Effie Eliza COOK Scaggs, and her last three children L-to-R Dora SCAGGS Moye (my Grandmother), Addie Eva SCAGGS Thomas (baby), and Isabel SCAGGS Peppers. Effie (b.1865 in Poinsett Co. AR) and Elias SCAGGS (b. 1860 Hempstead Co. AR) married 1883 in Union Parish, LA and remained there until abt. 1897 when Elias moved his family to Hempstead County AR where these children (and one before them) were born. They moved to Oklahoma in 1908, soon after this photo was taken.
