Victor and Elise died in Florida and were laid to rest in this tomb in St Pierre. Adhemar and his family are buried in a family mausoleum in Coral Gables, Florida. Adhemar made the tomb in St Pierre available to others in the family that remained in St. Pierre. Today, records show that Blanche Pourbaix (died at 2 years, one month), Leonne Rougeau (died at 21 years, wife of Leon), and Noel Latreille and Rose Latreille buried in the family tomb. Also buried there are two of Adhemar's infant children and Edwidge Harcoux, mother of Marie-Joseph.

- Lt. Raymond Renuart, Army Air Corps (13 KB)
A day or so later Lt Raymond Renuart left Iwo Jima for a flight to Japan in his C-46 and on approach to the destination airport, the aircraft was fired on by some renegade Japanese troops who hadn't gotten the word or had not accepted the fact that the war was over. Tragically, the aircraft sustained major damage and crashed with no survivors. Today, Ray is memorialized by a plaque at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Coral Gables, close to the Renuart family tomb there.

Father Jean and Sister Helen, both children of Adhemar Renuart, served the family spiritually as well as siblings. Father Jean celebrated nearly 60 years as a member of the order "Fraternite Sacardotal." Sister Helen is a member of Sister of Holy Name of Jesus and Mary order, and as of December 2000 is convalescing in a retirement home in Canada. She is 90 years old.
