Find Family
The Renuart Family Tree is the result of many hours of research with my brother Michael Renuart who lives in Daytona Beach Florida and can be reached on <Mike-Renuart@cfl.rr.com> We also have worked together with our Cousin Jean Renuart from Belgium who sadly recently passed away. We have over 1900 Renuart's and relatives connected to the tree dating back to the 1600's representing ten (10) generations.

Michael and I are sons of Firmin Paul Renuart, one of Adhemar Renuart's 16 children. Adhemar was one of three sons of Victor Renuart (see Victor Renuart Story). Victor and his three sons Adhemar, George, and Achille (AO) emigrated to Canada in the early 1900's from Belgium to establish business in St Pierre, near Winnepeg, Manitoba, Canada. The family Lumber Business eventually moved to south Florida and prospered for over 50 years. Be sure and read "The Victor Renuart" Story prepared by my brother Michael for a pictoral history of the Renuart "settlement" in North America from Belgium.

To the best of our knowledge the RENUART family originated in northern France near the Belgium Border. The oldest known RENUART we have researched thus far is Nicholas RENUART born around 1620 in Eppe Sauvage near the Belgium Border. Several RENUARTs immigrated into Belgium in the mid 1600's and established the largest population of RENUARTs in our current family tree. The oldest known RENUART from Belgium is Charles RENUART born about 1699. Charles is our Great Great Great Great Great Grandfather. The Charles Renuart descendant tree located under "Family Treemaker Reports" shows TEN GENERATIONS of RENUARTs including the North American Renuarts beginning with our Great Grandfather Victor.

One of Victor's brothers, Francois Renuart, remained in Belgium and we have a good deal of information on his tree with the help of Jacqueline Renuart and Jean Renuart who are grand children of Francois and live in Belgium along with over 200 other RENUARTs which we have added to the Renuart Family Tree. Jean has assembled a very nice RENUART FAMILY TREE website of his own (in French) located at:
www.renuart.be/renuart-genealogy/Home.htm.

The Decendent's Tree for both Victor and Francois are located in the section called "Family Treemaker Reports" on this website. This is the easiest way for one to find information on their family. You can also find your ascendants all the way back to Charles Renuart (born 1699) by going to the Renuart Tree (GEDCOM) Tree at the top of the website and entering your name. Follow the interactive instructions on how to find your name and begin your 10 generation journey into the RENUART history.

Please contact me or my brother Michael (who can speak and write French) for any additions or corrections. We would like to add all siblings, dates of birth, and places of birth or death. Email me at robert-renuart@earthlink.net
