The John Reuss Family Home Page
Updated September 6, 2000I am searching for church records for the marriage of John Joseph Reuss & his wife, Margrette. They were married in 1870 in or near Wurzberg, Germany. I also would like to find out who their parents were, but I don't know Margrette's maiden name. They came to America in 1870, & I'd like to find out what ship they came on & which harbor they came through. They spent 1 year in Davenport, IA before moving to Carroll County, IA, where they lived for about 23 years. Around 1894 they moved to Elgin, NE. This is where my grandfather, father, & myself grew up. Any help would be appreciated. |
