My Great-grandfather, Dr. John Alexander Reyburn, was a surgeon in Ravenswood, Jackson County, WV from 1903 until his death in 1915. He came to Jackson County from McDowell County, WV, and is believed to have been born in PA. John married Margaret E. Kelly , daughter of William Kelly of Ireland. They had eight children, four sons and four daughters, Paul, Willis, Emit, John, Margaret, Helen, Virginia, and Esther. All are deceased. Willis was my grandfather and married Julia Elizabeth Parr of VA. They are buried in Lincoln County, WV along with Esther. Margaret and Virginia are buried in McDowell County, WV. Helen is buried in Upper Darby, PA. Paul is, I believe, buried in Texas with his wife, Ruby. John is buried in VA with his wife Agnes. John and Agnes had two children, John and Ellen. Ellen married a Patterson. I can not find her or her brother. Emit (I'm not sure that was his name)had a daughter, Alice who married Sam Moore and lived in Charleston, WV. They had twins and perhaps two other children.
This is all I know of my family. Anyone having any information, please contact me. I am also searching for the lineage of Julia Elizabeth Parr, daughter of James Moore Parr and (unknown)Coffman of Honaker, VA. Any assistance is appreciated.
