This Family Tree connects the Danish side of the family through my wife with my own roots in the United Kingdom. The Gordon side has ground to a halt around 1790 in Newtownards. Similarly the Mellodew has also been difficult to develop back beyond 1800. There has been more success with Cooksons and it is through this branch that I have made some really fine contacts and discovered living relatives with a similar interest in family history. This tree represents the collective research of those named below.

The principal names in this Tree are:
Reynolds, Larsen, Cooper, Gordon, Gore, Hansen, Mellodew, Cookson, Hewitt, Gregson, & Fleet.

I am always very interested to hear from anyone with further information to develop this research.

Research by Gordon Reynolds, Erik Larsen, Sarah Cross, Syd Cookson, Alan Cookson, Jill Chape, Jim Preston, Louise Troughton, & John Stubbs
