I would like to introduce you to some members of our family. The first REYNOLDS that we have a record of is Christopher born in England in 1530. A lot of the information on the REYNOLDS' line is from Tillman's book "RENNOLDS/REYNOLDS OF VIRGINIA"; other information is from family and lots of it from research. Some of the collateral names in the family are: CROWLEY, POWELL, TUBB, ELDRIDGE among others. The REYNOLDS moved westward from Virginia to Missouri and then to Texas.

On the PEARCE side, the first documented information I have is Wiley PEARCE from Georgia. My line descends from Joseph Isaiah born in 1852 in Mississippi. The PEARCE's moved to Arkansas where they married into the BLANKENSHIP line. We find BOWLES, WILLIS, TRIMBLE, SIMMONS among others connected to the PEARCE line.

Other names we are searching are DAILY, LESSLEY, MYERS to name just a few.

If you can connect with any of these names, please contact me. If you find an error, let me know.

  • Bowles and related families (58 KB)
This tree describes the Bowles line from Va in 1774 to Missouri in the 1800's and branches out to Oklahoma and Texas. I hope you enjoy your visit
  • Trimble (18 KB)
This family is connected to the Bowles line through my gggrandmother, Elizabeth Trimble. The Trimbles came from Paris, Edgar, IL to Lawrence Co. MO. and lived as neighbors to my Bowles line.
  • Willis (18 KB)
The Willis family line is connected to my Bowles line through Margaret M. Willis' marriage to my ggrandfather, Thomas D. Bowles. After Thomas' death, Margaret married Edward Simmons. The Simmons are also connected to the Bowles and Willis families through marriages between brothers and sisters of the different families.
  • Simmons (16 KB)
This is the third family that ties into my Pearce line. You will see some of the same names listed on the Bowles/Simmons/Willis & Pearce trees. I seem to find more cousins out there all the time. Please keep contacting me.
  • Pearce (119 KB)
This tree starts with Wiley Pearce in Ga and follows my Pearce line from Mississippi to Arkansas then to Oklahoma, where the majority of them are living today. My line comes from James Madison Pearce who married Sidney Virgil Bowles in 1908. They had 3 children, the eldest being my father, Frank Pearce.
  • Reynolds (64 KB)
This is my husband's line. Dating back to Christopher Reynolds born 1530 in England, then moving to the immigrants to Virginia then onward westward to where his immediate family settled in Howard Co. MO. Green Reynolds was my husbands' grandfather and moved his family and children to Texas in the late 1800's, settling in and around Grayson and Denton Counties.
