In the 1850 census of Greenup Co., KY, Richard Blankinship is not shown as head of his household. He has either died, away from home working or elsewhere. Susannah is shown as head of the household in this census. In the Greenup Co., KY marriage, a Susan Blankenship married a James Keeton on July
21, 1859.
