OBITUARY FOR IVY LANAM

Mrs. Ivy Lanam, 84, of South Pike Street, New Martinsville, passed away in the Wetzel 
County Hospital following a lengthy illness.  She was born at Martins Ferry, Ohio 
October 20, 1881, the daughter of John and Laura Robinson Brown and was a  member 
of the Palm Rebekah Lodge No.157.  She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Nellie Fears 
Bruess of East Liverpool, Ohio and Mrs. Dottie Brooks, of Detroit Michigan; two sons, 
Joseph B. Lanam of New Martinsville, and Thomas J. Lanam, of East Liverpool: ten 
grandchildren.  Friends were received at the Wharton and Ellis Funeral Home where 
services were conducted Monday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev Ralph Young, minister of the 
First Baptist Church of New Martinsville officiating.  Interment was in Greenlawn 
Memorial Park, New Martinsville
