OBITUARY FOR JOSEPH B. LANAM

	Joseph B. Lanam, 72, of 29 Central Street, New Martinsville, died Tuesday at the 
Veteran Administration Hospital, Clarksburg.  He was born October 9, 1901, at Elba, 
Ohio, son of Conrad Lanam and Ivy Brown Lanam.  He was retired from Lanam 
Foundry, an Army veteran, a member of the New Martinsville Lodge No. 931, and a 
Methodist by faith.
	Surviving are four sons, Thomas E., Frederick J. and David Glen, all of 
Wellsville, Ohio and Jack A. of East Liverpool, Ohio; one daughter, Mrs. Patricia Lewis 
of East Liverpool, one brother, Thomas J. of Florida, two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Bruess of 
Wellsville, and Mrs. Dollie Brooks of Detroit, Michigan.
	Friends received at Ratcliffe Funeral Home after 12 noon Thursday, where 
services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Kenneth Broughan officiating.  
Interment in Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
