The John Gilbert Heplers of Pittsburgh, PA

Our family tree includes the following primary families: HEPLERs and CUNNINGHAMs of Western PA, FENNs and NORTONs from ME, MA, CT, RI, DE, NC.

I'm still looking for information on an Earnshaw family of Maine or Connecticutt containing Albert Frost Earnshaw, married in Portland, ME, April 1919, and living in Mystic, CT, at the time of his marriage. I have found no ancestors or siblings for him.

Credit for many of the Hepler family members goes to Avice Hepler Morgan and the first edition of her book, "The Hepler Family History." Our Hepler Family Bible, faithfully maintained by my grandmother, Anna Cunningham Hepler, has provided additional information for our branch of the Hepler tree.

I owe much of the Fenn family tree to Thomas Legaré Fenn of Green Valley, AZ. Tom also provided a great deal of the information I have included in Fenn family notes... either directly or via my uncle, Bud Gore, who talked to Tom about the Fenn family history before writing the chapter on "forbears" in his book, "The Navy Years."

Family tree notes also contain data and references for various facts or conflicts in data that I've found. In some cases, I have noted references for potential ancestors. These "may fit" but there isn't enough evidence to include them yet.
