Reynolds" my father's name is "Donald Reynolds" my mom's father was: Moses Taylor. born? 11/28/1902 This is the story so far 11/97: James Taylor <known as a blacksmith> born 1823 <according to 1870 census records.> Sandy Taylor <wife of James Taylor> children were: John/Washington/Anna/Harriet -------------- Reverend Washington Taylor born 1/20/1840 in lower richland area died 8/17/1921 in lower richland area sc.. Anna <or"Harriet"> Taylor <wife of Washington Taylor>..... the name "Harriet"....not sure if this is the same person.... born 9/12/1845. died 11/15/1917 He was born in the hopkins area around 1853 to James and Sandy Taylor. it is believed that his parents were members of the beulah Baptist church during slavery and that they lived on a plantation belonging to colonel William Taylor, a staunch member of the church. Washington Taylor’s father was a blacksmith and taught his son the craft. united state census reveal that Washington Taylor was a successful farmer and minister. his pastorate at beulah, lasted from 1895 to 1897, it is said that he was an outstanding pastor and was held in high esteem by his congregation. his other churches include St. James, Zion benevolent, and pleasant grove Baptist church. the reverend Washington Taylor died august17, 1921 and was buried in beulah cemetery. his children were Paul/Jack/Harriet ----------- Paul James Taylor sr. born 2/2/1879 in congaree sc..died 2/2/1955 Laura smith Taylor <wife of Paul Taylor sr.> born 11/13/1882died 1/12/1922 Paul was the son of rev. Washington and Harriet Taylor. he was born the lower Richland county township of congaree south Carolina. Paul Taylor was called poppa by his children and grandchildren. he became a devoted church worker in the beulah Baptist church and served as church clerk and on the deacon board. he also owned and operated a general store in the community. he was also a very successful dirt farmer. poppa married Laura smith and was blessed with nine children. Five boys. Paul jr. MOSES, john, Charles, and Abraham and four girls, Laura, Cornelia, Lucille and Carrie. the house they were born in was built in the late 1800’s then torn down in 1979. --------------- Descendants of MR. Robert Kinebrew was my great grand dad born sept 23 1895. sally barclay-kinebrew was my great grand mom born july 25 1895. she was born in a area called "blunt co./oneonto alabama and eventually moved to scottsboro, alabama.she had several brothers and sisters. noah/john/maggie/edward/william/ julie/hattie/nancy/ lucy/fannie and andy barclay. there mother was possibly named doan barclay. they are possibly mixed with blackfoot indian blood. robert was from tenn.his father was a man named "florence kinebrew". he had a sister named anna. they moved to cincinnati. robert and sally raised several children. mary/willa/john/david/robert jr./betty and ruth kinebrew.
