Paternal Grand Father, George Ernest Rhine b. 15 Aug 1896 in Ridgedale, Tennesee, d. 10 Mar 1961 in Hialeah, FL. His father was Ellis Rhine, his mother was Ella Lunsford. He served in the US Navy during World War 1. His nick-name was "Red".

Maternal Grand Father, Peter Danna b. 6 Jun 1900 in Palermo, Italy. He immigrated to the US in 1910 with his father, Salvator, and his two older brothers. They settled in San Francisco for a few years until they had saved enough to bring over his mother, and two younger sisters. The family then relocated to Portland, Oregon
