The Isaac H. Rhinehart Family Home Page
I am researching the family of Isaac H. Rhinehart. The original spelling of the last name was "Rhinehardt". Isaac and two of his brothers came from Germany (or possibly Holland). Isaac settled in Waynesville, NC at the site where the court house now stands. One brother, Coonrod, settled in what was to become known as Coon Holler and the third brother, Jacob, settled near New Bridge in Buncomb County,NC. Isaac (who was actually Isaac Jr.) was also known as "Little Red Ike". |
