HARLES H. RHODEN:
E-Mail received 1/26/2001 From Donis Rhoden:

My grandfather, Eunice Carline Rhoden (b 1895-1972), could be added to your list of descendents. He was a grandson of Eli and Eunice Caroline Rhoden. His parents were Charley and Lucinda Rhoden. My father, James (b 1925-d 1978), his sister, Charlene (b1924) and brother, Donis (b 1933- d 1953) were all born in and around Camp Ruby. They moved to Baytown in the 1930s. Aunt Charlene moved back out to Wilson Lake (next to Camp Ruby) and lived there until about five years ago when she moved to be closer to her daughter near Dallas.

My grandfather preferred to be called "E.C." or "Bud". He was not fond of his given name. When they moved to Baytown, my grandfather got a job at Humble Refineries (now Exxon).

Thanks for putting information on the web,
Donis Rhoden
