Menard Chappel Cemetery side view. This cemetery is a surprise to the visitor. After miles of gravel and sand country roads, you come over a hill and see this most remarkable island of peace in the middle of the oak and pine forest. Within this cemetary are believed to be at least 500 unmarked graves, of which several are known to be Rhoden and Bartee family members.
