* THE BESSANTS OF GORDANO, SOMERSET.*

Comprehensive research on the BESSANT Family from the Gordano Area of Somerset, UK- from 1700 to the present day.

This tree has its roots with William and Ralph Bessant in the early 1700's and branches out to the rest of the UK - especially Wales and Teesside - and to Australasia and the New World.

Although the tree starts with the heading "Descendents of 'Unknown Bessant'", I am fairly sure that the unknown is John Bessant born about 1688 in the Gordano area. Any help with this would be most appreciated!
