I am just beginning to research my ancestors. My father was Berton or Burtron or Bert Elmer Stevens. He married my mother, Myrle Sophia Frazee in 1932. He died due to a drowning accident in the Sacramento River at Redding, CA in 1937, leaving my mother a young widow of 23 with 5 small children. |
