I am a descendent of Johann Jacob Roth (Rhoads) who came to SE Pennsylvania (Amity Township,Berks County,PA ) in 1717 from Bonfeld in the Palatinate of Wuertemmberg I am also a descendent of William Odeon who came to Virginia in 1650 from Dublin,Ireland and settled in Norfolk County,VA. My wife is descended from the Rose family of England who came to Boston ca eighteenth century and the Lenander family of Stockholm who came to Boston at the turn of the 20th century. As all of my own ancestors came to America prior to MID-1750'S, this makes doing genealogy an interesting and laborius task.
