This is the old log home of Elijah Stover in Lawrence Co AL. It has since been torn down and replaced. Before the Civil War, Elijah had a plantation exceeding 1,600 acres and the 1850 Lawrence Co AL Slave Census had him listed as owning 16 slaves.
