My Great Great Great Grandfather Aaron Richardson settled in the northeastern corner of what is now known as Campbell county Tennessee. He and his family scratched out a place for themselves in the wilderness and today the remnants of those early pioneers still remain. Our ancestors have fought and served in almost every war of this nation including the war of
the revolution, the war between the states, both world wars, Korea, and Vietnam. We paid for our right to be called Americans with our blood. During the depression, the rivers of Campbell County were dammed in order to create work for desperate workers and provide electricity for a growing population. The farms and lands where our ancestors lived and died lie buried beneath the waters of the lake that was created by that project. Some of them
moved to other locations within Campbell County. Some of them moved to neighboring counties such as Anderson, Scott and Morgan. Others migrated westward and today a branch of the
Richardson family can be found in virtually every state of mainland North America. From the earliest days of colonial Virginia to the present day our family has lived, died and
prospered in this great nation. This is our story, this is our history, this is our heritage. Please feel free to browse my database and to contact me if you find an error (I'm human), or, if you find a connection with your family. My email address is listed on this page and I am willing to share my data with anybody who can prove a relationship between my line and theirs.

Sincerely,

David Richardson
