Find Family
This research is an ongoing project. My family names being researched include; Beeghley, Biles, Hodge, Hunt, Lincoln, Mack, MacDonald, Mosser, Langley, Steele, Stewart, Patterson and Richards just to name a few.

My daughters' paternal families have also been included; Murray Family (who arrived in the United States in 1858), Vourron, Socie, Rebillot and branches of those families. We thank these families for their contributions to this research.

The Murray, Richards and Steel hit the shores of the US as follows: Murrays line arrived in 1858, Richards line arrived in 1823, the Steel line landed in 1905. The Steel, Hodge, Mack, MacDonald, Patterson and Stewart families originated in Scotland which is where our research is now taking place. The Richards and Murray families originated in Ireland. Another place we are now conducting research. However, we have learned that if the Irish families were Catholic, there are very few records left due to the conflicts in Ireland. The Beeghley and Biles and Hunt families originated in England. The Vourron family originated in France.

These families have one thing in common, besides us, they all made the arduous trip across an ocean in search of a better life. We only hope that this research will echo the courageous efforts they made for our sake.

I'm now a proud grandmother of three: MacCaila, Colin and Riley Irene. As you can imagine, we have taken many photos of these beautiful grandchildren. We have provided a link below for those photos. This is a private site, so you will need to contact me for access.

DISCLAIMER. We would like to remind everyone that the best course of action in making certain you have the correct information for your family members is to document it yourself. Our family tree has been documented where possible. We have accepted and posted information from other family researchers. If you find there is no particular source mentioned, the information was most likely given to us by another researcher.

  • IN LOVING MEMORY OF OUR ZOEY GIRL 03/21/06 (192 KB)
Zoey was our family terrier who was purchased from a shelter in 2001, right after the birth of my Granddaughter. On March 21, 2006 Zoey laid down next to me on the couch as she did every evening. Except this evening would be the last for Zoey and I to share together. She peacefully passed away without illness or warning. Zoey was our tiny little companion for five years. She filled our lives with love and laughter. We will miss her terribly. Goodbye my Sweet little girl.
  • How Five year old MacCaila views her Family Tree (134 KB)
MacCaila picked this from our back yard and exclaimed "Look Gram, just enough for each of us!" She then began to name each leaf. Out of the mouth of babes.
  • Reuniting of a father and a son. (1158 KB)
I used to feel very sorry for this young man. I guess when you witness so much deceit and manipulation, it becomes hard to believe or trust anyone, including believing in yourself. His natural father is ready and has been waiting for many years for this day. I have no doubt that his father's family will show him love. I pray everything works out for this young man now that he knows the truth.

We recently discovered three online trees which listed a couple of our family members with the incorrect parents. We notified those individuals and two have corrected their files. Since one has refused to do so, we thought this would be a good time to post the standards of sharing genealogy information. The topic of posting and sharing false information is covered.
