Marie was the Grandmother of my two daughters, Lisa Marie Murray and Carrie Ann Murray. Marie was more than merely a mother-in-law. She had the actions, love and concern of a mother. I think in part, Marie always wanted a daughter, and I became that daughter to her. Even after my divorce from her son, we remained very close.
After Marie's husband George died, the girls and I would pick Marie up on Sundays after church and take her to breakfast with us. Times that we can look back on with very fond memories. She adored her grandchildren and we know she would have equally adored MacCaila. At present when we kiss MacCaila we say, Grandma Murray kisses for Mac! We have seen a number of online trees which have this man's grandchildren listed with incorrect parents. The incorrect trees have two female grandchildren listed as children through a marriage of Living Murray to Living King. Even though the Marriage of Living Murray and Living King did not occur until 1984 and the female children were born in the 1970's. These female children are actually the children from Living Murray's first marriage to living Richards.
