John Biles (b. Abt. 1691, d. July 1740)

John Biles (son of Charles Henry Biles and Sarah Wood)³² was born Abt. 1691 in Maidenhead, Hunterdon Co., New Jersey, and died July 1740 in Maidenhead, Hunterdon Co., New Jersey. He married Elizabeth Freeze, daughter of Abraham Freeze.

The will of John Biles, of Maidenhead, Hunterdon County, yeoman, dated May 29, 1740, was probated July 22, 1740. In it mention is made of his wife Elizabeth, daughter Sarah, two sons John and Charles. The Executors were "my wife and my brother Alexander Biles." The Trenton Evening Times on Friday October 2, 1908 brought the news of the death of Charles W. Biles:
BILES, In this city, on the 30th ult, Charles W. biles in the 62 yrs. of his age. The relatives and friends of the family re invited to attend the funeral from his late residence, No. 13 West Front Street on Saturday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment at Riverview Cemetery, at convenience of the family;
