The Richards Family Home Page

I am currently researching my family which include the RICHARDS, BONHAM, POWELL, COOPER and PATTON families (from Illinois, Missouri and Tennessee) and the WEIDMAN (WIEDMAN, WIDEMAN), COOL, ENCKE, PHILLIPS, and REYNOLDS families from Pennsylvania.My grandparents were the RICHARDS from Illinois and WEIDMAN from Pennsylvania.
The RICHARDS side of the family include BONHAM, POWELL, COOPER and PATTON. and the WEIDMAN side of the family include PHILLIPS, COOL, ENCKE and REYNOLDS.
The WEIDMAN side go back to Philip WEIDMAN in Pennsylvania to his birth in 1749 and the PHILLIPS side to Michael PHILLIPS in about 1625 and the REYNOLDS back to 1625 in Rhode Island. The BONHAM side of the family go back to George BONHAM in 1604, the POWELL side back to Joseph C. POWELL in about 1835 and so far the COOPER side back to Samuel COOPER in about 1825. Any information anyone has on these surnames would be helpful. 9-3-01
