Lena and Chet are my paternal grandparents. They were married in Iroquois County, IL, December 1921. To this union were born seven children, the oldest of which was Joseph Allen Bard, Sr., my father. His siblings were LaNora, Robert, LaWanna, Peggy, Betty, and Kaylen. Only LaNora and Peggy survive of this family group.
