John and Barbara Bard had six daughters who married and moved to Texas in the late 1800's. This is a reunion gathering of the family: John and Barbara are seated on either side of the priest (a cousin to Barbara on her mother's side). John and Barbara are listed in the 1920 Texas Federal Census as living in Hidalgo County with their daughter Maggie Quarnstrom and her husband Charlie.
