This is a group of BARD family members and neighbors gathered for threshing on one of the farms. The elderly, bearded gentleman in the center is patriarch John W. Bard, affectionately known as 'Grandpa Bard' to the locals. The man standing to the far left is his son John Arthur Bard. The boy third from the right in the front row is Chester Earl Bard, my grandfather. The boy second from the right is Charles Bard, Chester's older brother. The names of the others are not known at this time.
