This is a photo of my great-grandparents on their wedding day in 1892. I just received the picture, courtesy of a cousin in California who is a descendant of Abbie Bard, one of Joe's sisters. Joseph Morris Bard died in 1925, and is buried in the GAR Cemetery in Watseka IL. Ella remained a widow until 1945, when she married George "Cal" Starkey, the great-grandpa I knew as a young child.
