  Notes for JOSEPH EDWARD RICH:
Lived and worked in Piave,MS from abt 1920 to abt 1954 from daddy's recollection. joseph edward worked at the Crosby(piave)lumber mill as a switch car(train)operator moving cars from on place to another on the site. They lived in town untill daddy was abt 8 yrs old, and then he bought 80 acres where an old house stood. After the saw mill moved to lousiania joesph edward worked at the Stevens ice plant and as a school bus driver. Edward asked to live with him on the property, so joseph built him a house to live in, at this time edward was abt 70 and had married abt 2 other times. Off and on a lady came to live with him, her name was Hattie(?) Henderson,(moving between her sons house and there) until he died. in 1952 joseph troy bought land in perry co. near the sandersons house this also had a house on th site and in 1954 joseph edward moved from greene co. to the perry co. location.

6. MARY JANE3 RICH (STEPHEN C.2, UNKNOWN1) was born November 04, 1880, and died December 03, 1945. She married (2) WILLIAM RILEY BEST June 24, 1906.
